Update Engage DSS: November, 2025 On 23 October 2025, the Minister for Social Services, the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, announced proposed reforms to supports and services for families, children, and young people. The Department of Social Services is proposing to combine five existing programs under a new, single national program to support children and families.
