Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC)--Grant Opportunities

Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) sits alongside the NDIS Individual funding packages that we are familiar with. From mid-2020, the ILC Program transitioned from the NDIA to the Department of Social Services (DSS). For more information about the ILC Program, please visit the DSS ILC Webpage. 



Community Capacity Building is an innovative area of emerging practice that I have been using and researching since 2003. It aligns with the Information Linkages and Capacity Building DSS funding program.

The DSS Information Linkages and Capacity Building comprises four programs:

  • Individual Capacity Building
  • National Information Program
  • Economic and Community Participation
  • Mainstream Capacity Building

I am interested to provide support/coaching to Occupational Therapists and other professionals who are interested to explore Information Linkages and Capacity Building, rather than individual NDIS funding.

Therapist working in Schools 1984--2024  During the last 40 years, I have worked in schools in south-east Queensland as an Occupational Therapist and Music Instructor (piano). Looking back, I am developing a list of ideas that work well for therapists as we begin the new school year in 2025.
