Creating Music Stories -- Piano and Percussion

The Creating Music Story  modules are found on the  Music – Tracking the Milky Way  website (https://trackingthemilkyway.com/music). The Music Tutorials were commissioned by Gunnawirra Services and developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at 43 preschools in New South Wales in 2012.  'Creating Music Story' sessions are offered by Sandra Kirkwood for Preschool to Advanced learners using piano / keyboards and percussion. Individual or group sessions can be developed for particular locations. Invitation is made for involvement of family members, respected cultural leaders and Elders through the early childhood teachers and cultural services. Collaboration is important for learning which is based on the Reggio Emilia method.
